XE Trade - XE Trade FAQ
There are two possible ‘limits’ you will see within your account:
- Trade Limit is the total value of all open transactions. This is the maximum value of outstanding transactions you can have at any given time for which we have not yet received payment.
- Available to Trade is how much of your trade limit you have available for transactions.
- Direct Debit Limit applies only where you are able to use EFT to pay for your transactions (more info on payment types)
You can view all limits via the “View Details/Request Limit Increase” link within your XE Trade account.
Note: Due to reduced trading in the currency markets on weekends, there may be restrictions on trading limits from Friday 9:00 pm GMT to Sunday 10:00 pm GMT. During this time, you may receive an error message stating you cannot trade a requested amount, even if it is within your trade limit. If this occurs, please try a smaller amount or book your trade after the weekend.
