Content Specialist

At XE, we live currencies. Last year, we helped nearly 300 million people access information about the currencies that matter to them and over 350,000 people used us to send money overseas. Thousands of businesses relied on us for information about the currency markets, advice on managing their foreign exchange risk or trusted us with their business-critical international payments. We’re now looking for a talented Content Specialist to support us as we look to improve and expand our content across the XE.com website, as well as our emails, social media channels, mobile apps and more. You will create and distribute content that educates and empowers our customers, providing guidance throughout our various customer journeys. You will also contribute to our content strategy, as well as assisting in the implementation of a unified tone of voice across all XE channels. You will have a proven track record of translating technical detail into engaging copy that is accessible to a range of different audiences. Data is at the heart of everything we do, so constant data analysis and reporting to identify successes and areas for improvement is essential. You should be proactive with outstanding organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, as well as be able to prioritise and get tasks done without close supervision. You need to be able to manage well with multiple tasks and short deadlines in an ever-changing, fast-paced working environment.

  • Create and edit content for both B2C and B2B audiences on the global XE website and other marketing channels.
  • Create original content in the form of how-to guides, FAQs, whitepapers, blog posts, slideshows, infographics and any other formats you feel would benefit our customers.
  • Contribute to our content plan, input into creative ideas and help come up with new ways to make XE stand out.
  • Help to develop and implement tone of voice guidelines.
  • Assist in the development of a new XE blog.
  • Be on top of new trends, technologies and tools and make suggestions for how we could take advantage of these.
  • Work with teams around the world to ensure content is globally consistent and regionally relevant.
  • Undertake ongoing monitoring, evaluation and communication of results from campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing or related field.
  • An understanding of online tracking and experience in web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Omniture).
  • Comfortable working under pressure, able to adapt for short deadlines.
  • Excellent creativity, copywriting and proofreading skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-channel marketing activities.
  • A collaborative approach, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced digital marketing environment (client or agency side).
  • Understanding of marketing metrics and reporting.
  • Experience working for a global company in a highly regulated industry.
