

JOHANNESBURG, Aug 2 (Reuters) - The retail price of petrol in South Africa will increase by 2.4 percent from next Wednesday while diesel will rise by 2.7 percent, the department of energy said on Friday.
Petrol rises to 13.55 rand ($1.37) a litre and diesel 12.48 rand in the main Gauteng inland region. ($1 = 9.8640 South African rand)
