April 12 (Reuters) - Italian EU harmonised consumer prices (HICP) rose 2.3 percent month-on-month in March and were up 1.8 percent year-on-year, national statistics office ISTAT said on Friday, confirming a preliminary estimate.
ISTAT said the main domestic price index (NIC) rose 0.2 percent month-on-month and 1.6 percent annually, slightly revising down a preliminary estimate of +0.3 percent on the month and +1.7 percent on an annual basis.
