BUCHAREST, April 10 (Reuters) - Romania's annual inflation slowed to 5.3 percent year-on-year in March from February's 5.7 percent, below market expectations, data from the National Statistics Board showed on Wednesday.
A Reuters poll of 15 analysts expected inflation at 5.5 percent year-on-year in March.
Consumer prices were flat on the month. Food and non-food prices were down 0.1 percent each, while services rose 0.5 percent from January.
The central bank forecasts December inflation at 3.5 percent.
