ISTANBUL, March 29 (Reuters) - Turkey's central bank injected 1 billion lira ($552 million) in a one-month repo auction on Friday at an average rate of 6.71 percent, bank data showed.
Total bids for the repo, maturing on April 26, amounted to 6.96 billion lira.
The bank also injected 5 billion lira into the market in a one-week repo auction at a fixed simple rate of 5.50 percent. Bids stood at 19.85 billion lira for the repo, which will mature on April 5, the bank said.
