

MOSCOW, Feb 19 (Reuters) - The number of people unemployed
in Russia stood at 4.5 million, or 6.0 percent of the workforce,
at the end of January, after a rate of 5.3 percent in the
previous month, the Federal Statistics Service said on Tuesday.
Analysts polled by Reuters had forecast unemployment of 5.7
percent.
