FRANKFURT, Feb 14 (Reuters) - German utility RWE

on its transparency website updated planned maintenance outages

at its power stations in the 2013 Calender Year, leaving a

previous schedule unchanged.

Along the lines of competitors E.ON and EnBW , which offer similar lists on the Internet, RWE aims

to improve transparency in the European wholesale power trading

market.

Market participants factor in plant additions and

withdrawals into their supply scenarios.

The order of the plants listed is identical with that on the

RWE website.

N.B. Lignite is another name for domestic brown coal.
