OSLO, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Norwegian pipeline gas flows rose
on Monday morning as output recovered at the country's Kaarstoe
processing plant after a weekend fire, data from gas system
operator Gassco showed.
Total supplies to Europe, including Britain, were at 304.9
million cubic metres (mcm) per day as of 0730 GMT compared to
daily average of 289.6 mcm the previous day.
Flows to Britain, Europe's most traded gas market, gained by
7.8 mcm to 110.4 mcm, while combined supplies to the Netherlands
and Germany firmed by 4.1 mcm to 106.9.
Deliveries to France and Belgium inched up by less than 2
mcm each to 44 mcm and 43.6 mcm respectively.
The export figures are based on gas fed into the system at a
certain point in time and calculated to a daily average. Volumes
can change throughout the day as producers adjust the amount of
gas they pump into the system.
Gas output was reduced by 25 mcm per day over the weekend
due to a fire at Kaarstoe gas processing plant, but rising flows
indicate the production was ramped up on Sunday, as
In a separate message, Norway's Statoil, which
handles about 80 percent of country's gas exports, said its
output will be reduced by 12.7 mcm cubic metres on
That equals around 5 percent of Norway's exports on a normal
