

BUCHAREST, Feb 1 (Reuters) - The Romanian central bank's
foreign exchange reserves, excluding 103.7 tonnes of gold, edged
up by 253 million euros to 31.5 billion euros ($42.7 billion) on
the month in January, it said on Friday.
Inflows were at about 2 billion euros, while outflows were
at roughly 1.7 billion euros. Payments to service external
public and publicly guaranteed debt maturing in February
totalled 863 million euros.
