

TAIPEI, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Taiwan's economy grew by a
preliminary 3.42 percent in the fourth quarter of 2012 year on
year, the statistics agency said on Thursday, beating forecasts.
It also raised its 2013 full-year GDP forecast to 3.53
percent from a previous 3.15 percent.
