ISTANBUL, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Monday.
The lira traded at to 1.9198 against the dollar by 0545 GMT, firming from 1.9312 last Wednesday before a holiday to mark the end of the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan.
The yield on Turkey's 10-year bond was at 8.97 percent last Wednesday, up from 8.96 percent late on Tuesday.
The main Istanbul share index closed down 0.66 percent at 73,545 points last Wednesday.
Asian shares rose on Monday after Chinese stocks surged to a 3-1/2 week high as investors took heart from last week's encouraging data from the world's second-biggest economy, helping offset a slightly disappointing second quarter Japanese GDP report. China's CSI300 advanced 1.2 percent, extending last Friday's rise after factory output grew in July at its fastest pace since the start of the year.
The Turkish Statistics Institute was scheduled to announce industrial production data for June (0700 GMT).
The treasury was scheduled to tap a five-year, fixed-coupon bond maturing in June 20, 2018 and issue a new 10-year, CPI-indexed bond maturing on Aug. 2, 2023.
