SAO PAULO, May 7 (Reuters) - Automobile production in Brazil rose 6.8 percent and sales climbed 17.5 percent in April from March, the national automakers' association said on Tuesday.
Production in the month rose 30.7 percent from April 2012, according to data released by industry group Anfavea.
Brazil is a key market for the world's biggest automakers, including Italy's Fiat SpA, Germany's Volkswagen AG and U.S.-based General Motors Co and Ford Motor Co.
