Feb 19 (Reuters) - Foreigners reduced their holdings of Canadian securities by C$1.92 billion ($1.90 billion) in December, due mainly to large retirements of bonds and equities, Statistics Canada said on Tuesday.
Canadian investors bought C$5.47 billion worth of securities abroad, led by purchases of U.S. government bonds. It was the fourth straight month of Canadian investment.
