

MOSCOW, Feb 19 (Reuters) - Capital investment by Russian
companies rose by 1.1 percent year-on-year in January to 498.3
billion roubles ($16.54 billion), the Federal Statistics Service
said on
Tuesday.
Analysts polled by Reuters had forecast a 0.5 percent rise
in investment.
