CONTEXT

The Vietnam government has revised down its projected annual trade deficit for 2012 to $1 billion from $10.88 billion, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung told the parliament on Oct. 22.

The trade deficit last year was $9.84 billion, the government has said.
