ICSC/Goldman Sachs release chain store sales for the week
ended Nov. 24 versus the prior week, 7:45 a.m. (1245 GMT). In
the previous week, sales fell 0.3 percent.
Commerce Department releases October durable goods orders,
8:30 a.m. (1330 GMT). Economists in a Reuters survey expect a
0.6 percent drop in orders compared with a 9.8 percent rise in
September.
Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago releases its Chicago Fed
Midwest Manufacturing Index for October, 8:30 a.m. (1330 GMT).
The index read 93.4 in the prior month.
Redbook releases its Retail Sales Index of department and
chain store sales for November versus October, 8:55 a.m. (1355
GMT). In the prior period, sales were flat.
Standard & Poor's releases its S&P Case/Shiller Home Price
Index for September, 9 a.m. (1400 GMT). Economists in a Reuters
survey expect the adjusted 20 city index to rise 0.4 percent
versus a 0.5 percent rise in the previous month.
The Federal Housing Finance Agency issues Home Price
Index for September, 10 a.m. (1500 GMT). In the prior month, the
index rose 0.7 percent.
Conference Board releases November consumer confidence, 10
a.m. (1500 GMT). Economists in a Reuters survey expect a
reading of 73.0 compared with 72.2 in October.
Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond releases November indexes
on area manufacturing and service sectors, 10 a.m. (1500 GMT).
In the October, the composite manufacturing index was -7, the
manufacturing shipments index read -9, and the services revenue
index was 3.
Dallas Fed issues November Texas Service Sector Index, 10:30
a.m. (1530 GMT). In October, the index read 9.3.
