ATHENS, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Greece's 2010 budget will rationalise spending and lay the ground to ensure economic recovery, Prime Minister George Papandreou said on Thursday.
'We need to save the country from bankruptcy,' Papandreou said in a televised cabinet meeting.
Papandreou said the draft budget, due to be published later on Thursday, would aim at re-establishing the confidence of the European Union and investors in the Greek economy.
