BUDAPEST, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Hungary's budget posted a surplus in October, Finance Minister Peter Oszko said on Thursday without giving the exact figure.
The finance ministry is due to release preliminary October budget data at 1600 GMT on Thursday.
Hungary had a budget deficit of 145.7 billion forints ($793.3 million) in September.
Oszko also told reporters he expected a fourth review by the IMF and European Union, which started this week, to proceed similarly as previous reviews, without any major debates.
'We were always able to prove that Hungary is on the right track and markets have also given positive feedback,' he said.
