July 8 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions

and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were

reported by 0530 GMT Wednesday.

** MSC Software Corp, a simulation and software

services company, has agreed to a $360 million buyout by private

equity firm Symphony Technology Group and private investment firm

** Struggling German chipmaker Infineon will sell

its only profitable business, the wireline communication unit

(WLC), to a U.S. investor for 250 million euros ($349.5 million)

in a further step to stabilise its finances.
