Web Analyst

XE is seeking a Web Analyst to join the Web Analytics & Optimization Team! Web data analytics is a key element in XE's performance. This team develops new web data requirements, maintain automated dashboards, and analyze marketing and web/mobile performance to drive user experience and conversion rates. You will be responsible for the instrumentation and tagging for all web/mobile products, setup automated reports, delivering dashboards, perform in-depth analysis, and draw actionable insights that guide Marketing, Product and UX/Design decision making.

  • Design, create and automate weekly, monthly and quarterly dashboards and reports as well as meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) at all levels, including executive summaries and detailed channel performance report.
  • Analyze web traffic and site behavior for customer and business insights to support decisions and deliver on improved user experience and business growth (sales, margin, traffic and conversion).
  • Maintain and support web data integrity/validation. Coordinate tagging for new site content and functionality, tracking parameter implementations. Be able to identify gaps in the current data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements.
  • Partner internally and externally to ensure best practices in metrics and decision making are being maintained. Proactive in analyzing user behavior using available data to influence changes on the website.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders on development / improvement of data collection tools, data warehousing, and regular reporting.
  • Maintain an awareness of competitive information and key industry trends to provide context for website performance.
  • 3+ years in a data analytics, reporting, data science or business intelligence role.
  • 2+ years of experience working with web analytics platforms (ie. Omniture, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience with A/B Testing tools (ie. Optimizely, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience using statistical packages and/or data visualization tools (R, SAS, Tableau, Qliview, Qlik Sense, etc.)
  • 3+ years of SQL experience.
  • Experience extracting data and structuring for analysis.
  • Knowledge of Tag Management tools (ie. Tealium, Adobe DTM, Google Tag Manager, etc.)
  • Exceptionally strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills with a propensity to take things apart and see how they work
  • Advanced experience working with data from multivariate experimentation and personalization.
  • Experience with ETL tools and their usage with variety of source system platforms.
  • Highly proficient computer skills and has the ability to merge web analytic data with additional behavior data to have a robust view of the customer.
  • Passion for the online space with a solid understanding of interactive channels (search, online media, website/mobile development, etc.) and direct marketing principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with interpersonal and influencing skills (at all levels internally, externally and cross-functionally) including expert Excel and data display presentation.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated with a demonstrated strength in planning, organizing and project management skills to meet deadline.
  • Experience with high volume applications, with large data sets
