EUR/USD2016-09-26 06:38 UTC

EUR-USD has settled in the lower-to-mid 1.12s after peaking yesterday at an eleven-day at 1.1257 last Thursday. We don't envisage too much near-term downside potential in the dollar as market participants will, like the Fed, be data dependent in forming their commitment. The pair has been mired in a broadly sideways chop centred around 1.1100-1.1300 since March-April of last year. More of the same looks likely for now. Read More

The dollar traded narrowly mixed. USD-JPY clocked a two-session high at 101.24 during the Tokyo session, since falling back to near net unchanged levels around 100.80-90, while EUR-USD plied narrow range around 1.1200. EUR-USD opened near 1.1200, and made its way to 1.1240 highs. USD-JPY rallied to 101.12 after starting near 100.70. USD-CAD popped higher following weak Canada CPI and retail sales ... Read More
