The dollar edged higher after the better home sales data, stronger leading indicators, and a much firmer than expected Philly Fed headline. EUR-USD was pushed down nearly 10 points to 1.3263, though gains were largely short lived, perhaps as dollar longs covered some positions into the modest rally, booking profits ahead of potential market moving events from Jackson Hole.
